Dorothy,
When I was using the WACF I would remove the wings on structured caps. I
had much better luck this way. Also make sure your cap is hooped as tight
as you can. You are getting some flagging which will cause the needle to be
forced over, hitting the needle plate and breaking needles.
I would also like to mention I use the new winged raised needle plate for
caps. The cap seems to move better on this needle plate. I bought them for
all my cap machines. You can find them here http://dkenterp.com/ . Also
