Loree, I had a terrific time embroidering isacord metallic thread on satin. But I was using silver and gold and evidently didnt get one of the needles (80/12) in properly because it kept breaking, So I just rethreaded the one needle that worked to change colors. My point is..it may be the needle I don't know what I did differently, but 1 would sew and the other wouldn't. You may want to change to a different needle number and I slowed the machine down a bunch. ....just my experience.. Vicki
