Melissa,
There is a good article at http://stitches.com/ar/apparel_fabulous_foam/
I personally travel around the outside edge of the satin while creating
the caps with a 10 pt walk stitch. It helps cut and reduces the amount
of foam that pokes through. I have also heard of others using heat guns
to clean up.

Subject: [amayausers] amayausers] Foam
Good Afternoon-
Does anyone running Amayas have tips on digitizing and running foam
designs?
I have my first request and it is looking pretty good, but when I pull
the
foam off, it is not a clean cut - there are jagged edges and pieces that
stick
up through the column or fill.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - I need to have a sample and
quote
together by tomorrow.
Thanks.
Melissa Dallum
