[amayausers] Re: XP Professional vs XP Home vs ???

One of the most important compatibility issues is memory. Make sure you
have plenty of memory - not just the minimum the XP specifications call
for. I "upgraded" to XP Pro a while back and ended up going back to 98
until I can afford to upgrade/replace all four of my computers. Without
sufficient memory, you'll get the XP equivalent of blue screens. I expect
that the tech computer will need to run a fairly intensive set of programs
anyway, so I'd max it out (memory, hard drive, speed) as much as possible.

Good luck with the training. I'd like to hear how it goes. Sorry to hear
about your machine, but I'm sure it will be made right.
