Something I have gotten into the  habit of....I always select the cap driver 
designation in the hoop selection and then senter it to the machine 
....before.... ever attaching the driver to the machine.

There had been a couple of time that I had a large hoop(44x30)  and it locked 
up the capdriver after selecting the correct cap driver and went to center the 
it to the machine.
