You could try this:  turn of the machine.  Then manually move the hoop so that 
it is approximately centered.  Then turn on the machine and see if things have 
come right.  Worth a try.  Sometimes it is like the poor machine just gets lost 
and doesn't know where it is.  Had that happen to me once and turning it off, 
then manually moving the x and y to eyeball center did the trick.
