Type your lettering, hit enter.  A large X comes up over each letter. Left 
click on the letter you want to change. A selection box shows up and then right 
click.  The menu that oomes up has properties, color, etc listed.  Go to color 
and change to the color you want.  
It took me awhile to figure this out but I did using the help manuel in the 
software and found it.  Hope this helps.
