Not sure about the material you are talking about will so...but I sewed a logo 
on a front hood bra for a girls first car from her parents last October with 
poly thread and the car gets washed once a week or so and it still looks good 
and we get hot summers and freezing cold winters and it is holding up quite 
well

p.s. make sure that your customer knows that due to the tricky material that 
you cannot guarantee or replace the cover if it gets wrecked...if they are okay 
with that go ahead and  give it a shot.  If they are not fine with the deal 
then walk away....
