If it is being sewn on to patio furniture (vinyl cloth covering?)
there are several different UV sprays and paint or roll on coatings
we use in the sign business. Frog Juice is one well known brand. I
use it on everything!
It is supposed to extend vinyl lettering colors by 3 years or more so
it should work on other products. I've used it on paint, latex and
enamel, vinyl signs, aluminum, etc. The only thing it is NOT for is
vinyl canvas banners-there is something in the plastimer (?) that
reacts to the clear coat and prevents it from drying-have to use a
waterbase clearcoat instead.
I would recommend you call Far From Normal (the supplier for Frog
Juice) and talk to them if you want to use it-or get some and test it.
Otherwise there might be a spray that you can get from a patio
furniture supplier made just for patio furniture to protect it!
