Guys - Thanks for the reply. A picture is worth a 1000 words! The caked on
stuff obviously, could not allow the red roller to roll smoothly against the
pincher arm.

Above is the URL to imageshack. Please look at and let me know if you think
this is normal. To my estimation, without proper lube heat could develope
making it easy to peal off the red debris from the roller.
