We were using home embroidery machines and since getting the Amaya we have not used the other machines at all. I did alot of looking and asking questions about the different machines out there and not seeing them run was a bummer before we purchased however with that said we went with the Amaya because of the speed it can do, the ease of use, tech support online and via phone and we wanted to make sure their was a technician close enough to us as well in case we needed it. It has not been all roses as when we got our machine it was damaged in shipping however we called Melco and they got the tech out here and new parts and was up and running in no time. Support is awesome here and that is a huge thing to consider when looking at the machines. Oh, did I mention the hats are easy to do on this machine. If you do alot of hats really consider this machine as it is really easy to do hats on. Ok, I will shut up now as I could go on and on and on...just look at your business and deside on what you want to be able to do and figure out what machine is right for you.
