I got that one and it is sooooo easy to use! I just got one and the hooping is so fast that I am reluctant to get another. No need. I took the bill clamp of the new 180 deg hat hoop that came with my machine and put it on the CCF/WAD. Then it holds the bill back from getting scraped. My friend just gave me a very simple bill cover to protect the bill from getting scrape marks. It is just two pieces of tough material that is sewn in the shape of a crescent moon that you simply slip over the bill. I haven't tried it out yet, but it sure looks like it would work. The only thing that I think it wouldn't prevent is if the corner of the stainless V bent guard goes out beyond the edge of the bill and catches it. Then it would probably try to yank the hat out of the hoop. This would be when using the new 180 deg hoop. I do most hats with only a front design, so the old hoop is perfect. But when I have designs on one or both sides then I have to use the new hoop. And I really don't like the new hoop!
