Well, I finally found the time and courage to take a look at the Amaya
Operating System. I've had the machine about 8 - 10 weeks now. It has
<2,700,000 Z rotatations on the count. Can someone tell me what this means in
terms of the machine's use?
The manual and the postings on this list have me quite intimidated. I have
been advised that there were two calls on this machine. One was a how to
question and one was to order a part. The first stages of oiling the machine
went o.k. I oiled the hook and the needle case tracks. I will work on it as
time permits the rest of this week. I have a lot of reading to do before I'll
even run a test. Told my husband I think I'll let my "mechanic" oil the
machine. Poor thing. He didn't understand. -- He's my mechanic. :-) I'm one
of those people who has a lazy brain -- Open head, pour it in. I find this
list most informative and helpful. Thanks everyone.
