File size is the only limit I can find and it is 500k.
I would think you should be ok?? But you better make sure.
Check the specs in the book.

I am having a design digitized thats going to be over 200K stitches.  My
digitizer wants to know the max # of stitches an AMAYA can handle.  He needs
to know if it needs seperated into 2 designs.  Anyone now??
