Mike- don't use the silver tops-use the yellow one. And keep them closed
when not in use-the adhesive is garbage. I have industrial grade engravers
tape I'll replace mine with.
Used them on blankets, fleece sweaters, but not on hats-I used 4" hoops. I
didn't feel the clamp would hold it tight enough to take the curve out of
the hat back. Can't use it on jackets-the weight of the jackets pulls it
right out of the clamp.
Tote bags ran good too!
Just have to figure out what material/ objects will stay in place because
there really isn't that much 'force' holding the clamps together for any
heavy material that hangs down and drags on the table.
