       I have worked as a tech for over 25 years and polo's wont work. Fender 
covers are used to protect the cars not the shirts.We have tried different 
shirts but always go back to a polyester shirt it works better in the heat.You 
can look at Virginia T's they have some "racing" style shirts,I don't know if 
they are very light weight or not.We wear shirts from Cintas very thin button 
up short sleeve.They wear like iron and resist stains very well.Battery acid is 
also something to think about as well.
