[amayausers] Re: Scanner recommendation for the digitizing process?

Before you buy, check your computer to see what ports are available. ie
parallel, scsi, usb, firewire. Tell the saleperson what you have and ask for
a recomendation. Just because it is cheap does not mean poor quality. It's
really a matter of features. I recently bought a Canon for $75. It does a
much beter job than my old scsi HP and is faster too.

I have an HP (older model) and have had no problems...
The one thing I like about it is it is a flat bed..
I can lay a jacket back on it and scan it...
