[amayausers] Scanner recommendation for the digitizing process?

Hello!
I am in the market for a new scanner and would like to ensure I pick a 
product that will be effective for scanning business cards, pictures and photos 
from 
which to digitize.

Can any of you on the amayauser list provide me with your recommended 
brand/style of scanner?
