[amayausers] Re: Scam Alert From Broder

Unfortunately my brother got taken several months ago. He sent a case or two
of his catch-it caps to Nigeria and lost everything. I found out a couple
days after he shipped otherwise I could have prevented it. This scam has been
going on for quite a while and they must be successful to keep it going. :-(

Sandra,
Thanks for the head up. Just to let everyone know, we did in fact get a
call like this about 4 months ago. And everything went along as is stated in
the e-mail alert. However, being cautious, and even though the credit card
they were using went through fine, we called the credit card company only to
find out that the card was in fact bogus and that it would have eventually
been
denied. I believe they found our phone number from the Internet.
They were polite but very much in a hurry and like the e-mail said, wanted
it to be a rush order. After we hung up with them, we never heard from them
again. Probably too busy scamming other folks.
BEWARE!!
