Sanmar has them...in 'lime' 100% from a couple sources. But the TRUE gov't spec
'safety green' is only found in 50/50...because the color 'holds' on the poly
fibers better than 100%...it fades pretty fast on the 100% cotton. Our 'city'
(should really be a town) specifies the SAFETY green for all groups,
organizations, and any company doing work whether it is fundraising or working
for anyone on or near the roads-I can get away with the lime and they haven't
squawked-but the highway department already noticed their original source for
100% (lime or safety) has already faded enough they are n't happy...so glad I
didn't do them! I will do 100% only after telling the customer that I guarantee
absolutely that 100% shrinks-no matter what the label or company says. Needless
to say, haven't ordered 100% in several years!
