I have the roland gx24 but I have not made a sewout with it yet. But it seems
like to me you would digitize your applique then change and or save it as a
vector. Then import it into a graphics program that can be used with the cut
studio software I use corel x3.The gx 24 and the cutstudio seems to like AI
version 8 I think. I would have to fire everything up to check. Then save
object as a AI file and it will ask for which version.Open cut studio import
your vector object and cut. Use your digitized piece in your design so the size
will be correct and so forth. I have not been able to get the plugin for corel
draw to work with the gx 24 yet. I am wanting to try this out as well just have
not gotten around to it yet. If this idea seems wrong or to busy maybe someone
with more exprience than me can chime in. Just my 2 cents
