The Amaya machine filters ALL jump stitches. The Amaya machine does not
know what a Jump Stitch is. It does not have a Jump Stitch Solenoid as other
machines do. If there are a series of 35 jumps in a design to move to a spot
and continue to sew, it becomes 1 stitch that is a long move Also, as Aaron
pointed out, there are also filters on to eliminate duplicate stitches and
every other stitch less than 4 points. Some designs will filter more than
others depending on the design.

The Width and Height of a design in Design Status or measured by the
Amaya machine when loading are the widest points in the design in that
direction. Sometimes this is hard to determine by first glance. I used 2
designs shipped with the software. 1day.OFM and 59079.ofm. I compared the
status of the design in size to measuring with the ruler to their widest
points both in the vertical and horizontal directions. I did this in both
Windows XP and Windows 98, (as they both use different video methods etc.)
and found them to be very close by measuring on screen with the ruler. All
measurements I get are within 1/100th of an inch or less.
