You shouldn't be wearing hoops out that fast. I have hoops I am stil using that I got in 1996 with my first EMT machine.

Thanks for your suggestion -- do you mean the two silver bolts on the metal 
clamps that lock the hoop in place?

Melco told me to tighten down these two bolts on each arm but they won't
budge.
