[amayausers] Re: Placement on cuff?

LuAnn,

Somewhere I read that it is the left cuff to embroider. My logic thought it
should be the right. I'll try to find the info and post later. I wouldn't
worry about what you've already done as the customer is not complaining! :)

Subject: [amayausers] Placement on cuff?

I have done many, many cuffs on dress shirts.
I have always done the "right" sleeve and have never had a complaint. I was
under the impression, you do the "right" sleeve because that is the hand
that you use to shake with.
Well, I just had a request to do the left sleeve and the gentleman looked at
me like I was nuts, when I asked him to confirm that he wanted the "left"
sleeve.
Now I am afraid I have embroidered way too many shirt cuffs on the wrong
side! Oh no!!
Can someone please clarify this for me?
Thanks,
