Thats what I do unless the customer has a specific placement request. 
SOmetimes they want them on the right or centered but off to the left is 
most common for me.  I normally use the 3.5" hoop and won't sew anything 
wider than that on them.  Too much of a paint to put a 4" wide logo on a 
neck.
