First, hoop the fabric and stabilizer you are going to use for the patches. I usually use a BIG hoop and get as many into it as I can. Do an outline stitch on this in the shape of the patch. Remove. Cut along the stitching. Hoop a layer of really good stabilizer. For this I use a hoop size that holds one patch only. Do an outline stitch of the shape of the patch. Remove hoop. Sticky spray the stabilizer in the hoop. Press on a cut-out of fabric/stabilizer. Press button and let the patch be made! In digitizing the design, I make certain it does the outline and border first. For the satin stitch on the border, I go into the properties menu and change the understitching to a density of 25. It eliminates the curling on the edges.
