Just turned on Big Red after letting it hibernate for a couple weeks...and as
the needle head moves sideways there is an audible 'click' I believe from the
cog wheels behind it. I have the feeling someone leaned on the head at some
point and threw it out of whack...last time this happened was several years ago
and there was a sequence of commands in the program to re-align the wheels? And
of course, we can't find the notes we took on it.
Anyone out there familiar with this? We did shut it down and restart, the
presser foot lined up correctly, but before doing anything I used the keypad to
move the needle head sideways and once I heard the 'click' again we shut it
down. Can't afford to break off teeth.
