[amayausers] Re: Needle breakage

Cindy,
It's difficult to say for sure without seeing the machine, but what you are describing is a not an uncommon occurrence. Probably when removing a hoop something caught on the presser foot and bent it forward. IF THAT IS THE CASE, the fix is easy. If you are sure nothing else is causing the problem, use needle nose pliers, very carefully readjust (bend) the presser foot back away from the needle. It should just clear the needles as the needle case moves. Don't go back too far or flagging and thread breaks will occur.

Subject: [amayausers] Needle breakage

Good morning,

Need help!!

Having a problem.....as the color/needle selection advances back and forth
the presser foot hits and snaps the needles off.

Or as the presser foot lines up with the needle it pushes the needle off to
the outside of the presser foot. The needle does not position in the center
of the presser foot.

Is this something that anyone else has experienced? Hoping it is a problem
that we can correct. Xmas is coming fast and need everything running
smoothly.

Thanks in advance for any direction.
