Babylock is a magnificent machine for home embroidery and sewing. That's what I
use when I need a table top machine for quilting and appliqueing. This may be a
better option for your needs but you know best ultimately. Good luck! GF

Have you looked at the Babylock or Brother 6 needle machines. A step up
from home embroidery (I run a business with mine), but not quite as large
(read expensive) as the XT.
