ok... here's the scoop.. it probably is you and its probably the other people 
as well...

What is most likely happening is that there is a file with an attachment that 
is closgging your email and causing a timout before all your email downloads... 
which means your server doesn't see the session as complete and thinks it needs 
to send the messages again.

most imes.... thisis caused by anivirus programs.

so... follow these directions carefully at your own risk.

1. turn off your antirus
2. open your email program and download mail
3. before opening any mail... turn back on antivirus.

alternatively... if your mail host has web mail... log on there and delete all 
messages you don't want to keep.  close the browser and then open mail on your 
machine.  things should be fine.

only other possibility is a flaw with the mail server your isp is using.
