[amayausers] Missing trims

One of my two amayas is missing trims at different times and different
places. It will run the trim test perfectly. It seems to be software related.
In
.dst files, trims are initiated by a series of jumps. Does the operating system
convert to trims (the computer) or are they read by the "on board" software
of each machine? Any ideas? Thanks, Mike

The Amaya machine filters ALL jump stitches. The Amaya machine does not
know what a Jump Stitch is. It does not have a Jump Stitch Solenoid as other
machines do. If there are a series of 35 jumps in a design to move to a spot
and continue to sew, it becomes 1 stitch that is a long move Also, as Aaron
pointed out, there are also filters on to eliminate duplicate stitches and
every other stitch less than 4 points. Some designs will filter more than
others depending on the design.
