[amayausers] Re: Metallic Thread!

I took a class at ISS in Atlanta from Connie Smith and she gave us some
suggestions for running metallic thread although I haven't tried them yet
but will be in the next week so this thread has been helpful to me too. She
suggested running your machine at 1000 spm she said metallic thread runs
better at a higher speed, there is less chance of kinking the fine metal
used in making the thread. Also using a 75/11 large eye needle such as Organ
brand. If you are really carefull pulling off the soluable topping you can
almost get every piece of it without having to use water. A little more time
consuming but sure beats rethreading your needle all the time.
Let us know what combo you try that finally works.
