in quality.

    Herb,
Failed to mention that yes, the new MT would/could possibly apply to any
machine the new rollers are retrofitted to.

      Hey Group,
Having a bit of an issue here. New machine arrived Saturday, along with
the thread feed roller upgrade for the older machine. Upgraded OS software as
well. Sewed some flats with both machines using the auto material thickness,
the only issue was the new machine missed trimming the bobbin about 30% of the
time. Then I started sewing caps on the new machine, again using the auto MT
feature and began to install the roller upgrade on the old girl. The caps sewed
horrible, thread breaks and fraying thread. The OS was showing the thread feed
varying from 2 to 6 as it sewed. Turned this feature off and ran at MT of 10
but results were not much better. Still breaking thread.
I mention the roller upgrade because I found the note that says the new
rollers may require a 1-2 point higher MT to work. The question is, would the
higher MT also apply to the new machine as well? Are my issues because I am
running the new machine at settings that worked with the old machine/roller
combination. Any thoughts.
