Jim,
What size are the letters and what font are you using? Also, what size
needle and type of backing are you using? All of these may affect your
lettering.

I just can't seem to get my text looking "professional" on a consistant
basis. For example, I have been trying a double zigzag underlay at a
density
of 10 in conjunction with an edge walk underlay. My goal is to get strong,
clean looking letters, but I still don't get great quality. Does anyone
have
a standard guideline that they follow to consistantly get great letters?
Most of my embroidery is either on pique sport shirts or on wovens.
