[amayausers] Re: Laser light

Thanks for the info, but, when I say it shut down, it shut down, clear
down. I thought that to be strange but computer screen and everything
went blank, I didn't have a chance to note the stitch number. My machine
has done this about 3 times now. Needle down and all goes blank, I turn
off the power and all returns to normal operation on power up just like
nothing happened except I need to reopen the sewing file.

Any ideas.

Whenever you have to shut down and restart, just note the stitch number
you
stopped at before closing the OS.  When you restart, you can use the
"move
to stitch" function in the software to go directly to that stitch number
in
the design.  As long as you didn't unhoop what you are sewing on, it
will
continue perfectly.  You will never line up anything with accuracy by
using
the laser.

One problem that I've seen often is that a design will fit perfectly in
the
sewing field of the hoop when represented in Design Shop, then when
loaded
onto the OS it shifts about 1/8th of an inch.  I've had to go back to DS
on
several occasions to adjust a design to counter that effect.
