I've found the best way is to now convert your .bmt to vector, then you can
pick each element of your design & convert it to what ever stitch you want
e.g. fill, column ect. It seem that if I just let the auto digitizer pick
what stitch to use, I have to go back & change about 25% anyway.
In ver.5, the convert button defaults to vector anyway. Then in the projects
column, right click & select "Stitch Vector Element" adjust your properties
& click the next button until you are done...

Subject: [amayausers] LETTER: Design Shop Pro Plus Question...
This is really a neophyte question. So please bear with me.
I just brought in one of my images to photoshop (pen and ink drawing) and
colored with the paint bucket tool and saved it in bitmap.
Then I brought it into Design Shop Pro Plus to auto digitize. Now I am not
sure what steps I need to do this. I am trying to do an almost automatic
digitization to save time on simpler images.
What steps do any of you follow? I read the directions (and being
Amaya-challenged still) get confused with what is written. I know I am
missing some
step...but don't know what it is.
Any helpful hints will be appreciated.
Thank you.
I realize I can manually digitize it but right now want to find some
shortcuts that will work well and then readjust later.
