[amayausers] Re: Ideas for anniversary blanket?

I did a blanket for my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary.  It was a=
n MV Sport blanket and I did 12 designs on each end (48 total).  We grew up=
 going to their home every Thanksgiving and spendning a week camping at the=
ir camp so it was SO MUCH FUN.  Took a few weeks and TRULY a labor of love.=
  One end had their wedding date, a design for each of their children with =
birthdates, 2 granchildren and their birthdates, wedding design for each of=
 their 2 children.  One end had thier hobbies/interests and professional lo=
gos (church, card making, cards, fishing, antique collecting, teacher, coac=
h, a book written, etc). One end was Thanksgiving and related....Amish, We =
all go shopping, one end was summer camp related.  Made a poem and presente=
d it at their celebration with my siblings and their was not a dry eye.  So=
mething they will cherish and will be passed down to children/grandchildren=
.   I have used the claddaugh design and put names and date underneath and =
arched childrens' names around it for anniversary/Christmas gifts.
