Roland,
You are correct it is the NJ Transit but amtrak sells the tickets on thier 
website too since I would be using Amtrak and transfer trains in Philly to 
the NJ Transit train. It takes you right to the door of the Convention 
Center.
John, You didn't say the whole family was going at first so it would make 
sense to drive. SmartTag's are helpful getting through the tolls faster :)

I've gone to Atlantic City every year for a sign convention-
and we fly to Philly and take the Philly train to the terminal
and pick up Jersey Transit.
Takes you right into the convention center-and if you stay at the
Sheraton, you never have to go outside!
Jitneys meet you right there-or grab a cab.
Where does Amtrak stop in Atlantic City ? Can't stop at the
convention center-that's a dead end just for Jersey Transit isn't it?
