Hydrostick is a stabilizer that goes under the design and stick's the item
to the hoop.  There are adhesive backings which use a gummy like medium for
this.  Hydro stick you wet first and then it sticks.  Much less gumming on
the needles.  GREAT for the backs and sides of hats check out
