I also have limited space...the Amaya is actually in my office. I
have a picture window boxed in with 2 'doors' behind it-we put
samples in the window on glass shelves, etc. On the back of each door
I put pegboard-about 18" by 5' high.
All the small cones fit on one door, in the same order as the swatch
card. As we use up any color, I buy the 5000m cone to replace it-that
way I know which ones are most used. Having it right there the
customers can pick exactly what they want for color, and also if I
run out of a color (its happened in the middle of some runs) I can
see which color is 'almost' a match and switch over to it. Customers
don't notice the change.
For backstock (like the black, white, red, green, blue that get used
80% of the time) they are all on the second panel, with all hoops on
hooks underneath. No more digging through boxes or tubs.
