Hi Jan,
We purchased the clamping system both in the small sizes as well as the
larger size (with the intent of the small one for left chest on jackets and
testing designs and the larger one for jacketbacks). We use the small one
all the time but have found that the large one certainly is not good for
jacketbacks--no place for the excess fabric to go inside the clamping
system. I can see it being used for towels, etc. but not jackets.
