I like the idea of a cloth strip, but not sure if the customer will go
for it. Design is 108 mm wide by 43 mm tall. Which fast frame do you
think would work the best?

I've never done one of these but have you tried heating the hat a bit
(the
area to be embroidered) and then use a fast frame? How large a design?
Is it
possible to put the design on a cloth strip that goes around the base?
Hopefully someone with experience will help out.
