[amayausers] Re: Hook question

Rod,

Thank you, I will try your suggestions - I don't really want to buy a new
hook. Jeff said the screws were only available by buying the whole hook so
as soon as they come loose I keep my hand underneath in case they fall.
I've already lost the cap to my oiler, so I'm really careful about loose parts.

As to never seeing a hook as bound up as mine - well, I only do things big.
I seem to have a habit of getting a similar reaction - anything from "you
digitized that - wow!", to "you managed to get that program to produce THAT
- it wasn't designed to do that!", to "I'm sorry, we'll have to get you a
new computer - we don't know what you've done" (that from the head of the
IT group at my last job - who was quite upset when I told him exactly how
to fix the problem but that I couldn't because they wouldn't grant me the
appropriate permissions).

The good news is I'm not swamped with immediate orders. I have several
items to finish, but none that can't wait until this issue is solved. Of
course, I've also got a house to prepare for a 3-year-old's Christmas (and
the obligatory grandparents LOL), so tomorrow is last minute baking and
cleaning (and battery prep for all the electronics), so I may not get to
the hook problem again until Sunday. I'll let you know how it goes.
