I have done this with the small circular hoop (9cm). I took tear away backing
and sprayed it with temporary adhesive and then applied to the area on the neck
part of the turtleneck. The key is to get it straight and not to stretch the
material too much (just like any thing you hoop for the most part). To make
sure I got it straight and in the area I wanted I marked it with tape and after
hooping and putting it on the machine I then pulled the tape off before
stitching it.
Hope this helps

Subject: [amayausers] Holiday wishes and a question
Just want to thank ALL of you who have offered advice when asked over
the past year. The year as been good and I still have a job to do as
quickly as possible. The one part of it I am unsure about is as another
inquiry, a logo on the collar of mock turtlenecks. I thought about the
cap frame but my question is do you back the fabric with something or
what? Thanks in advance for the help and advice.
Wishing you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, and to all A GREAT NEW YEAR.
