[amayausers] Re: Help--thread breaks with sticky backing

I have started using hydrostick backing and letting it dry before stitching,
this virtually eliminates the sticky backing problems of "grabbing" the
threads. To get the hydro stick backing off, if it sticks too much after
embroidery, you just rewet it a bit.

Subject: [amayausers] Help--thread breaks with sticky backing

Hi all.....I really could use some help. I'm doing some patches using fast
frames and sticky backing. I am continually getting thread breaks. On a
design
that sewed flawlessly on a cap in 10 minutes just took me almost 45 minutes.
The patch is a standard twill fabric and I have the material thickness at 4.
I've slowed my speed down to 850 but that's not helping. I'll be putting in
new
sharp needles in the morning (too tired to try now....can tell by how long
it's
taking to try to thread the needle) but I could use any other suggestions.
Thanks.
