Teresa,
Is the sweatband complete folded out of the way and the teeth gripping
just above it?
Have you tried shaping the bill before hooping so that it doesn't pull
when clamped into the support arm?

Subject: [amayausers] Help with Caps
Does anybody have any pointers on printing lettering on the side of caps
with the Amaya? I am trying to put a name and one number on the front
left side of a cap. It is stitching okay, except it is walking uphill
towards the front. I'm getting frustrated as I think that it is hooped
correctly, but can't figure out what else it could be. Any suggestions?
TIA,
Teresa Murray
