Have you tried adjusting the settings for your material thickness. On some
designs I sew I will need to adjust the thickness based on what is being
sewn. Page 8-15 and 8-16 in the Amaya Equipment and Software Manual gives a
good description on the adjusting the material thickness.

Don't throw it out yet!

I agree. If you do not have any of those thread feed rollers, which I am
told, new ones are being Beta-sited as we speak, then swap the thread to
another position and try it, especially one that has not been used very
much. We have had to replace those about monthly, I'm sure you would
replace them MOORE regularly if it is used MOORE! The tech manual is good
about how to do it, if you have never done it before. Or hollar back at us,
we'll walk you through it.

Another thing to look at is the bobbin itself. Have you cleaned it lately,
run some paper or thin piece of backing under the spring portion that is
adjustable to clean it. I've seen lint build up under there pretty
severely. Blow it out, squirt some alcohol and then adjust it to where it
is a little loose.

I would check your feed rollers first. With my machine as soon as my feed
rollers start to wear down I start getting a lot of false bobbin breaks.

I am very new to this. Bought an Amaya in October. I am having huge
trouble's with false bobbins break's. It seem's if the design's calls for
long run's from left to right and back again, it give's false bobbin break.s
Do some fills have more trouble than other's? I'm ready to throw the
machine out the back door. Been fighting with this for 4 day's now. Thank
you in adcance. Terry
