Hi, I just recieved my AMAYA friday afternoon. By the time I got it set up, tech support had closed. Does anyone know the network protocol? Does it run TCP/IP? what IP address. It does not show up on my routers DHCP list. It came with a crossover cable. I tried hooking it up straight into my NIC & got a light, but I get a message ?Ethernet communications did not start correctly, restart computer" I did & still got the massage. Therefore, I hooked up my router with patch cables. Same problem. When I hooked up the router, I went into it & looked at the DHCP list, no AMAYA. I thought I may have a NIC card problem, so I put in a card from an old computer & I still have the problem, so I am assuming I need to set up something in the network protocols so the AMAYA can be seen???
