Amaya's have a switchable power supply that will work on 220 v or 110 v
without having to change anything except the power cord.

I would ask for the serial number and contact the Dutch Melco
distributor to have them verify the machine and it's service history
etc.

I spoke with Melco about that when I was looking at the bogus machine.
I was told that there is a switch on the bottom of the machine that
changes the power.  But you may have to buy a new power cord - if the
machine is legit.
