[amayausers] Extended Warranty

I talked with DiAnn at Melco on Friday about the extended warranty and she's 
sending info out. I would be very leary about paying $100 month if the warranty 
doesn't cover much. I like the idea of putting the $100 per month away as an 
emergency fund but in reality how many of us would be diligent about doing so? 
I think preventative maintenance is really important in maybe preventing some 
of the nasty repairs although I know some Amaya owners that would disagree. The 
one thing that really frustrates me is the location of techs. Last time I 
checked there was no one in MN and the tech I had this spring came from 
Dyersville, IA which is quite a distance for someone to drive in one day. 
Perhaps Melco should encourage more owners to take the tech training, it would 
be nice to have at least one in every state. I'm technically challenged (just 
ask my groom!) or I'd consider taking the training. I'm really glad I have 
another month to consider my options and I'm sure I'll still have a hard time 
deciding what to do!
